Buddhist Therapist in Seattle & Washington
Feel Grounded, Understood, & Confident In Who You Are In Yourself And In Your Relationships
Kaitlyn Sheridan, LMHC
You’ve Spent So Much Of Your Life Trying To Hold Everything Together
You’ve supported others, pushed through overwhelm, and done your best to make sense of your emotions. But inside, you still feel disconnected from who you are.
❋You want clarity.
❋You want to trust yourself.
❋You want relationships that feel steady and real.
❋And you’re tired of feeling like something is wrong with you.
If this is you, you’re in the right place.
I’m Kaitlyn, a Buddhist Therapist
Serving Clients In Seattle and Across Washington
I support therapists, caregivers, LGBTQ+ adults, and individuals with ADHD who carry deep emotional responsibility for others and want to understand themselves with greater compassion, clarity, and steadiness.
My work is shaped by years in community mental health. I supported teens, families, and clinicians navigating crisis, burnout, and the systemic weight of care. I understand how isolating it can feel to always be the strong one taking care of others.
Therapy with me centers on restoring your needs, rest, and sense of self so you can feel grounded, confident, and connected again.
Beneath the surface, you might feel
-Overwhelmed by emotion
-Disconnected from your identity
-Uncertain about your relationships
-Ashamed of your needs
-Scared that something about you is fundamentally wrong
Nothing is wrong with you; you’ve simply never had a safe, grounded place to understand what’s happening inside. Our work centers on restoring your needs, rest, and confidence in yourself so you can live and relate with greater steadiness, presence, and compassion.
What is Buddhist Therapy?
My approach uses Buddhist-informed psychotherapy. Buddhist therapy is a calm, grounded approach that helps you understand yourself with more clarity and compassion. It’s simply a way of paying attention to your inner world so you can respond to life with less fear and more steadiness.
It's important that we notice what’s happening, make sense of it together, and build a steadier relationship with your emotions and your identity.
This approach gives you space to slow down, breathe, and feel like yourself again.

My Values as a Therapist
1. Affirming of All Identities
Any and all identities you hold will be celebrated, honored, and respected. You will be met with compassion, honor, and understanding.
2. Respect & Empowerment for Your Journey
We approach the work in a way that fosters safety, steadiness, and authenticity. It is important to me that we empower you to listen to and trust your inner voice and intuition to guide you.
3. All Feelings Welcome
Nothing you share is too much. Your emotions make sense, and this is a place where they can be understood, not judged.
4. Understanding, Not Blame
We look at your patterns with curiosity, not criticism, so you can see where they come from and what they mean. You cannot hate or shame yourself into change.
5. Practical
What we talk about matters in your real life. You’ll learn what you need, how to trust your voice, how to make choices, and practice skills that truly support you.
