Meet Kaitlyn
My Story
I was drawn to therapy early in life due my own personal caregiving role as well as wanting work that gives back kindness to the world. I wanted a livelihood that encourages living with compassion, integrity, and growth that gives me sense of purpose and ethical alignment. I enjoy the meaningful work of supporting those who put so much of themselves into the care of others.
I worked in nonprofit community mental health organizations that took me into the community with a focus on teens, moms, families, crisis intervention, and navigating the systematic violence of poverty and our institutions. I coordinated care and resources alongside schools, hospitals, government agencies, and other nonprofits to best support the most vulnerable. I worked on a team of dedicated, diverse clinicians that worked together to support each other and our clients.
Outside of work, I enjoy getting lost in a book, creating or researching art, embroidering, playing games, cooking and baking for others, jamming out to music, and spending time with my two corgis.

the Difficulty of Getting Help
I understand how heavy it can feel to hold so much for so many — and how isolating it can be when you feel you can’t let any of it drop. When people depend on you — at home, at work, in your community — it can feel impossible to make space for your own pain, needs, and dreams.
I’ve spent my career supporting those who care deeply for others — therapists, healthcare workers, educators, caregivers, and parents. I know the quiet fear that you’ll disappoint someone, the guilt of needing a break, and the exhaustion that comes when your own cup runs dry.
Therapy with me is about tending to what’s been neglected — your needs, your rest, your joy — so you can feel more whole and steady in yourself. Doing this work doesn’t just help you; it ripples outward, allowing you to show up for others with more authenticity, presence, and compassion, without the harm of the overwhelm.
My Approach
My approach is rooted in an eclectic blend of theories and practical tools, shaped by deep compassion and a belief in your inherent resilience. Together, we’ll look at how your relationships — past and present — and the roles you hold for others have shaped your sense of self, your boundaries, and your capacity to rest and receive.
In our work, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where you are fully accepted and deeply heard. I believe healing happens in connection: here, you get to lay down the weight you carry for others and focus on your own needs, desires, and well-being.
This work is about rediscovering your inner resources, nurturing self-compassion, setting healthier boundaries, and remembering that you are worthy of rest, joy, and care. My goal is to help you build trust in yourself — to feel more resilient in hard times, more at home in who you are, and more aligned with what truly matters to you.
I value kindness, radical compassion, authenticity, humor, curiosity, creativity, and the belief that we have a responsibility to care for each other — and ourselves — along the way.
